During the summer of 2022, I was asked by the RSPB to participate in photographing local gardens and community areas in and around the Central Belt on their latest campaign 'Nature At Your Doorstep'. On four shoots, from a neighbour's vibrant garden to a community space in Polmadie, I tried to capture how the locals had improved their green spaces and what can be done in such a small area to improve both biodiversity and people's mental health in locations close to big cities.
